The fallen princess

by XfromwithinX   Mar 15, 2008

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down you golden hair,
your prince charming is here please don't despair.
For he will save you and take you away on his horse,
you'll live happily ever after *laughs* of course.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down you tangled hair,
the prince will take you to the dragons lair.

Cinderella you shall go to the ball,
in your pumpkin carriage to the great hall.
The clock will strike 12 and you'll have to go,
he will come to you after longing for you so.
Cinderella you shall go to the ball,
you will run down the steps and there you will fall.

There is no happy ending to this fallen princess.

I think i'll find few words for it, i know you've put this into the dark poems, but you've got read this on a sunny day, you'll find humour in there. Over all while i still have breath of me from intense giggling, i will that the poem brings a cross a strong message - that fairy tales can have it's down sides and can be associated with real life problems. Maybe not the awesomely long hair or the pumpkinmobile part, but i hope you see what i mean... lovely poem ^_^
