Unmenable Memories

by Cainer   Mar 15, 2008

I have been told
Keep a list of all the of good
Forgive all the wrongs
Focus on the here and now

I have been told to mend who i am
Forgive the past
The people that hurt you
And the problems you once faced

I am sorry to say there are no words
There is nothing to do or say
That will ever make me forget the past that is me
Never make me forgive those who have pushed me to far

My past is a part of who i am today, I just cant push it away
I just cant say well i forgive you then forget what it did to me
You cant keep the memory and pretend that everything is OK
Because no forgiveness will ever mend the feelings brought up by those memories

I dont think you should forget i think no matter how you want to change how you want to forget it will all come back to you in time but i think your past is what makes you...you and if you forget that and let it behind you its like forgeting you forgeting who you are forgeting all the ones that love and hate you
