Just a Shade

"Just a Shade"
Written by: Red Lady

Peaceful, serene knowledge.
Equppied with a bracade of fire.
Incapable of love to the widest extent...
...Where mankind is deserved to rot.
Empty hollowness? Never in me.
Only within you does it thrive.
Cannot see the truth when it pries open your flesh.
And you're screaming and you don't know why.

Peaceful, serene anonymity.
A joyful complacency we all so desire.
Sit and corrode in your own rust.
You are filthy and will never be used again
Because you do not offer yourselves for service.
You sit there...molesting your potential.
Even though you think that what you are doing is "profittable" or "just".
But who are you to decide what is "right"...
And then...who am I?

Peaceful, toxic arrest.
You seek to chain me to my own life?!
No. Not beyond your own leashes.
Your religion has crippled your will to see.
And your faith has drained your will to learn.
I can watch you all drain your equities.
I can smile as you thrust a dagger into your spine.
But I cannot complain when you kill yourself...
...Not even knowing that you are doing it.
Because you don't want to die.
You want to live.

But in so doing all these things.
You never were alive after you were born.
