The old tide has come
I am swept away...
No knowledge of when my foot touched the surface
Of the once calm, collected waters.
Entropy does not fade
Atainment in every ray...
Innocence reflected in my mind's wandering eyes
Within recollected thoughts.
Shifting, moving, the water rises
My mouth above the rapid...
It's coolness reaches ever closer to cover my ears
To cover the sun above.
Swim, breathe, struggle
Scratchy throat as I remain afoot...
Cramped muscles perspiring... the sweat washed away
In the old tide... toward its depths I swirl.
