Without You

by Marco   Mar 15, 2008

The long and painful silence that we have in between
Is a long and painful feeling of insecurity.
It eats away like maggots feed on dirt.
And rots away like dead and diseased skin.
We took this love for granted and in vein
And pain falls upon me as if it were rain.
A moonless night when you're not around.
I fall because I'm weak and I lay on the ground.
A sound of distance and monstrous thunder
Has put me buried in a box six feet under.
You were a one of a kind wonderful lover,
But we never talked or looked at one another.
Like complete strangers who knew each other very well,
Or like an angel feeling welcomed at the gates of hell.
Trapped in eternal and lovely abyss
We end this love with a passionate kiss.
