For Mom

A little older and a little wiser
Without you Mom, I would be a little feistier.
We had our fights and shed our tears,
But when I needed you, Mom, you were always there.
Forgiveness wasn't always easy and trust wasn't always there,
But the one thing I could count on, Mom, was the love we always shared.
A little braver and a lot more stable,
Without you Mom, I would be a little plainer.
