Discouragement to Encouragement

by Michael D Nalley   Mar 17, 2008

Missed appointments to disappointments
Are the flies in the proverbial ointments.
Even the most Holy One who is anointed
Must sometimes be very disappointed

Even the pain that most do not treasure
Sometimes leads to someone's pleasure
Yet hopelessness is very discouraging
Belief in love is most often encouraging

When our hearts are filled with courage
Very little remains to discourage
The desire to fulfill our dreams
It is the passion, which redeems

Your choice of words were great and the title was great. [I loved it] and the emotions are portrayed quite nicely. I'd say a 5/5 indefinitely. (:

I enjoy reading this poem 'coz it looks like a tongue twister and it consist of a nice message.. most especially the last stanza 'coz it comprises a very inspiring and true meaning which says that it depend on the individual whether you'll let the negative feeling over come you.
