Battle of life

This is the battle,
the battle that we must fight!
tonight is the night,
that we con core our fears,
no longer will we live in darkness,
no longer will we live in fear,

so take a stand,
and make this the night that we must choose,
we must choose right from wrong.

this is a story,
a story about a teenage guy,
he is 17, almost out on his own.
he is afraid that with his education on the line,
he will not be able to survive in the world.
he is scared and frightened.

this 17 year old teenage kid is not like everyone else.
he is very unique, he is caring, he is kind.
he is a perfect soul.

but tonight, he is no longer afraid.
afraid to take a stand!!
no longer will he have to fight the fears,
for tonight, is the night that he must fight!

so take a stand!

this is a poem that i wrote because ive had all these crazy feelings and dreams about being scared that i wont make it in life. i was scared that without a good education i wouldnt be able to pay for things in life. but everyone has kept me going. i love you all thank you so much!!
