The storm goddess

by Cah Tess   Mar 17, 2008

Black tresses flying wild in frenzied gale
enchanted spray of rainbow mist
slaps angrily against her face
as inky lashes lock in dream
slender wrists outstretched
to lucid lawless fantasy

scattered rumbles dash
across the firmament
raging stormy shower tumbles
upon her solid fragile silhouette
bony shoulder blades like wings
press against the furious howl
as gleamy rivulets appear
any mystic eyes unlock

drenched petals glow in hazy blur
she beckons to their charm
bewitched they swirl in patterned daze
enthralled they cling to air
blackened clouds disintegrate
trees hush wind and fury

...

then Noa whispers beams to earth
as her wrists above her head
charm petals bathed in amber
and serenity descends
taking less than a second
more than eternity

...

wet tresses whip against the shriek
of water on wind and thunder on air
slender wrists outstretched
to lucid lawless fantasy
and petals on her knees
