split in half . . .
blood seeping through,
flag middle staffed.

A gory scene,
too much to bare . .
tears of joy,
for no one cares.

It took so long,
to get this far. . .
bleeding form the heart,
to show who you are.

I know the truth,
of who I am -
I need not a soul,
to hold my hand.
