What changes

I'm running alone
down the road
the rain is dropping
down on me as i go

only my heart is pumping
my head spinning round
I'm losing grip
and forgetting the sound

the road is the same
with a different meaning
sometimes I'll walk it
other times i run down it screaming

i feel so absorbed
but still so much pain
it's hard to know exactly
what's changing in the rain

I'm crying these tears
that are being washed away
i don't know where I'm going
bit I'm sure i don't want to stay

i know what the reason is
the one that I've been looking for
I'll wait for that reason to find me
and then i can be sure
