Forever Morning

by Deathcanwait   Mar 18, 2008

Counting the cracks in pavements
Excuses of transparency
A heavy chin rests on aching chest
So young to think of mortality
A walking soaked in anger
A cry like a piercing knife
Lost in thinking of her unthinking
Is living like this a proper life?
Like a child at a grave's side
Dont understand whats going on
But a mind so deep and not unworldly
What is said cant be undone
Once saw an old tree in a silhouette
So unnerving yet at peace
Darkness covers up its hard face
But every darkness soon must cease
Because for me its forever morning
Cant hide in shade to make it through
Left to walk these shattered pavements
My heart this highway, this road, without you

I love this. It leaves much room for the reader to fill! It shows a lot of character in itself. It deserved my 5! ;) keep up the good work.
