Its amazing how you lie straight to my face
i hear them a thousand times but still i stand in the same place
a fractured heart blending in to escape whats real
by suffering all this pain my heart will never heal

why cant love be like we see on TV
together, forever, just you and me
i can deal with a fight here and there
but you fight everyday as if u don't care

i want you to be happy, peaceful and free
but why don't you want the same thing for me
my finger shakes every time i wipe a tear
and i have to cover my ears to block out things i don't want to hear.

maybe if we fly to the stars and back
you might forget all the things i lack
or maybe if i handed you the world
you might be nice to say "your my girl"

i wish baby that one day you see
that the only thing in this world you need is me.
always remember that ill still be standing in the same spot
