Left to Die

by slowlyxfallingxapart   Mar 18, 2008

There she was, just lying there,
She had long, black, silky hair.
Her wrists were burning,
Her stomach was churning.
She was left there to die,
But she only cried.
She would walk down the empty streets,
Listening to her long, painful heart beats.
No one cares to even say "Hi."
They just watched as life passed her by.
Her mommy died when she was six,
That left her family in a fix.
After that, she ran away,
I guess her life was the price to pay.

Now she wanders the empty streets,
Dark alleys and deserted buildings.
Trying to find her broken soul.
Not stopping for even a second.

Her heart has turned dark and cold,
From her Father's words he had sold.
She doesn't know what to do,
So she stabs her heart and says, "I love you."
