Life's long journey
is a cruel and long path
filled with fear,
denial, hate, and of course wrath
for it has love in it
love that only causes pain
love that makes no sense
and never has a gain
love that only hurts
and never can heal
love that only one of you
are to forever feel
so what is the point
in going along this trail
