TO LIVE

by LOVEATFIRSTSIGHT   Mar 19, 2008

What I would do to be outside,

but I have rules I must abide.

The longing to run,

and the longing to have fun.

To get beyond these four walls,

but here the doctor makes all the calls.

I see the shinning of the sun,

Still I long to have fun.

Those days came and went,

now my days are spent.

They are spent in a lonely room,

and all I ever feel is gloom.

I have so much to give,

but all I want to do is live.

Live so I can see the trees

and hear the bees.

Live so I can smell the flowers,

and give myself showers.

Live so I can feel the wind on my face

and just be able to embrace.

Live so I can see tommorrow,

and not feel all this sorrow.

What I would do just to LIVE!
