Film of a lifetime

by bridie   Mar 19, 2008

The film rolled in its flickering of black and white. They just sit there watching, tears in their eyes, their family, their memories, their life. The picture moving fast, changing. A young couple, Walking down the beach, Holding hands, In love. A small child growing between them, soon a family feel moving in strong. Happy times. Then their grandparents, a couple still much in love, now just watching their children and children’s children growing up, growing old. Life on fast-forward, caught on film, old and flickering, through break-ups and death, but in life and all the way through, one couple constantly in love.
The whole thing like a flower, growing, blooming, then withering and dying, but in the end it’s still a flower, beautiful in its own way. Like love in the end, it’s still love.
