Hope?

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Mar 19, 2008

Hope is a vacant expression
of miseries' betrayal
that seeks only to divide
fear from defeat
and give them each something
to try and occupy them for a while
while it's necessity cannot be argued
its infallibility is impossible
its calming tones
and sometimes falsities of the mind
help yet destroy a persons possibility
to separate what's real and what is not
hope sells what it can find
in a desparate struggle to find a solution
that may or may not be there
hope doesn't think
it only works at the complex
areas of your mind
to either come back to the top
or back where it began
for hope is a vacant expression
of miseries' betrayal.

hopes no doubt trouble a lot and causes misery but if they be taken out of our life than we die instantly..
    well composed thought...loved reading it.
