You told me you would be back.
You told me that everything was going to be alright.
You said you weren't going to die.

You told me you would be back in no time.
You told me that you would be OK in the hospital.
You told me you were going to get better.

You said you would always love me.
Me your grand daughter.
You said you would come home and hug me.

You were sick papa.
You had a problem.
You were like my second father.

When my parents came home they told me:
He went into surgery.
He didn't make it through.

I got up and cried in my dads arms.
I cried and I cried.

Why did you have to die.
