Forsaken

Why does it hurt me
When I knew it was a possibility
Why do I feel this pain
When I knew that things would never be the same
Why do I have to cry
Why must these tears fall from my eyes
I feel this constant aching
And I know that my heart is silently breaking

some more tears I must shed
I imagine what could be
