When The Last Leaf Fell.

by Teria   Mar 20, 2008

When The Last Leaf Fell.

Dreams can't come true like this,
with just a sudden, simple kiss.
There's more than meets the eye,
when you sit and lie, lie, lie.

Forget the words you plan to say,
I won't believe you, not today.
The days and years that are to come,
will prove that with you, I am done.

For, when the last leaf fell
that fall, near the wishing well.
When I wished so hard for you,
to just love me all the way through.

I really liked it..but can i make a suggestion. Nothin big I was reading it over and I think the line "I won't beleive you, Not today" I was thinking it could be "I wouldn't beleive you anyway" because this line really expresses your anger...just a suggestion.

I was thinking maybe you could check out my poetry and give me some pointers because you seem like a really good writer...thanks
