Sorrow

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Mar 20, 2008

Sorrow,
Sorrow go away
you're not welcome here anymore
your stench offends me
and I can no longer bare your touch
frigid and hard
you are no longer worth my time
no matter how much you promise me
with you I am never safe
and now when I think of it
I never wasw
how were you able to lure me?
My logic must have failed me then
as it sometimes does now
you caught me when I was weak
but now I am strong
how is it I cannot force you away?
You are not my friend
and with everytime you tough me
you prove it further
go away sorrow,
for I no longer want you...

The poem is very inspiring.. sorrows should be driven away...quite an optimistic approach towards life...
Lucid language, simple vocab..all these features have imparted grace to the flow of the poem.

This poem shows your optimism. You are strong enogh not to be lured by sorrow. It is a human nature that we always sorrow. It does not come itself.I like the way you have rejected it.
