Crushed Once Again

I wrote this poem a while ago on 9/11 but i just really wanted to submit it and see what you guys think. Its different from most of mine being that it has no rhyme scheme whatsoever but I was in a wierd place at that time.

Do the promises that you made mean nothing?
you say that you always keep your word but so far I dont agree.
Yes these promises werent directly stated but they dont have to be.
You made me feel special and once again I thought that maybe this time could be different.
I was wrong.
You gave me hope and put long desired happiness within my reach and just took it away.
How could I believe that anything could ever go right.
I was trying to have faith but now I know the sad but true fact.
No matter the situation or number of people around me I will always be
ALONE.
