Those four words

Those four words you said after every sentence.
i looked you in the eyes thinking
your love for me was relentless.

those four words that you made seem so true
after every fight i always said "i love you"

i don't know why other people cant see
that you are the one that shines the light over the sea.

maybe their right and i just don't know
that our love wont ever grow.

those four words you said felt so true and so alive
even after years of change and years of strive.

I'll look back on those four words that i used to adore
and I'll think of you saying "i love you more"
