Losing you;
numbness paralyzes my heart,
leaves me gasping for some source of oxygen,
some source of answers.

losing you because of some substance,
something not even human,
not even worthy of your love,
jealousy.

jealousy sharpens itself against my ribcage.
the cell that now holds my broken heart,
shattered, helpless, and unknown.
