From the hill side in the shade of night
I can see the shining light
The carnival going on down below
No one notices that my tears flow
While the marry go round spins and twirls
I watch as you destroy my worlds
You feast upon your cotton candy
I work on broken dreams that need mending
Everyone rides high on that roller coaster
But I stand looking up wishing I'd get a turn
There's just no point in being with the crowd
If you're always the one who's being left out
And so I sit outside the festival and its clown
Up on this hill side with growing frown
