Why You Shouldn't Love Me:

by AlyssaBrook   Mar 22, 2008

I have a thing for breaking hearts, I guess it's what I do.
Silly boy, be careful, the next--it could be you.
I suppose there's something wrong with me,
something even I don't see,
For it causes me to fall inside,
A unique thing many try to hide.
This special thing; I hear it's called love
Apparently, it's a "gift from above".
All I ever did was nurture it,
turned out it was a piece of shit.
I wasted my time on this tiny seed,
I ignored what I was advised to heed.
So now I am neither living nor dead,
confusion has taken control of my head.
Please turn away, I don't want you to see,
The heart-breaker, this monster, me.
