Keep Me Here

by HollywoodSmile   Mar 23, 2008

I breath you in as the night becomes crisp
for once in my life im not rirrping up my wrists
our saliva mixes between our lips

the summer air is warm
the sky holds no sign of storm
my skin remains untorn

your hands wrap around my waist
your fingers trace freckles across my face
you take me to a better place

i taste your skin as night turns to day
for once in my life im not running away
our sweetness blends with every word we say

the morning air is damp and heavy
the sky holds clouds a plenty
my veins arent itching to be emptied

your hair falls in your eyes
youve erased all of my lies
you wont let me die

Nice poem. The devotion was well portrayed and the love was felt throughout. I like how you kept referring back to how he kept you from cutting. Great work

    cheers. josh
