Chp. 31 *****

?????????????????????¢??By the time Paul had finished completing his mission, I was filled with such a bloodlust I was contemplating killing him as well. The woman was weeping, blood stains on her soft pink dress. Bruises on her neck proved to me that she had resisted Paul?????????????????????¢??s efforts, this meant she would already be weakened. ?????????????????????¢??Is-is that you??????????????????????¢?? she whined when I came into view. ?????????????????????¢??See, she asked me to do this,?????????????????????¢?? Paul bragged, trying to show the woman he wasn?????????????????????¢??t crazed. ?????????????????????¢??You were always such a bright student?????????????????????¢??????????????????????¦.How could you want for something like this?????????????????????¢??????????????????????¦.?????????????????????¢?? She continued to weep, ?????????????????????¢??What would your mother say??????????????????????¢?? she looked up at me and I couldn?????????????????????¢??t describe the hate I felt for her at that moment. ?????????????????????¢??Kill her.?????????????????????¢?? I said with such coldness in my voice, that she knew there was no mercy in my bones. She did not implore anything of me, but of Paul, telling him how she would forgive him, that she wouldn?????????????????????¢??t tell anyone. ?????????????????????¢??I sad kill her!?????????????????????¢?? and the hatchet came down, bringing a spray of blood down after it.

Chp. 32 *****

?????????????????????¢??Once the deed was done, I walked with Paul down to the creek where I bathed with him and washed his shirt for him. We preformed our sinful acts of married couples right there in the murky waters. I told him he did wonderful, and that he was being a good man by doing my bidding. We carried on for hours like that, naked in the stream.?????????????????????¢??

Chp. 33 *****

?????????????????????¢??When nightfall came, a young girl, about fifteen, came running through the woods. There was a boy chasing her, maybe sixteen or seventeen. When she reached a barn she waited for him. ?????????????????????¢??Boo!?????????????????????¢?? she hopped out from behind the side of the barn. ?????????????????????¢??Katharine, please,?????????????????????¢?? the boy took her hand, ?????????????????????¢??Your mother will not be pleased if you are not in your bed the break of dawn. In your perfect, pink little room, with flowers in vases, and photos on the walls, and nothing on your skin?????????????????????¢??????????????????????¦.?????????????????????¢?? The boys voice trailed off as he thought of sick images. ?????????????????????¢??You?????????????????????¢??re enjoying it already, aren?????????????????????¢??t you? It will be well worth it. I promise.?????????????????????¢?? She kissed his lips. I hated her for it.?????????????????????¢??

Chp. 34 *****

?????????????????????¢??I did not hate her for kissing the boy. I hated her for kissing him and being pleased by it. I had only ever kissed Paul, and that was because I needed it, fulfillment. The boy pressed her up against the barn, ?????????????????????¢??You are beautiful?????????????????????¢?? he whispered. And with that they disappeared behind the doors of the barn.?????????????????????¢??

Chp. 35 *****

??????????¢??We finished our games and I went on my way. Thought he doesn??????????¢??t know it, I saw Paul go into the barn after the young girl and her companion. I slit his horse??????????¢??s throat to punish him. I drifted west to the cemetery. The one where I was never berried. I found the spot where my tombstone would have been placed, had I been normal like the other children. Instead my body was burned to make save space for the families that cared where their children were and what happened to them. The families who loved their children, no matter how fat like Tubby, dimwitted like Sally, or how worthless like Nirah, their children were.??????????¢??

Chp. 36 *****

???¢??Thoughts like those are pointless, unless you have bodies to take their places. I do. Who, though? I am bored with these simple, quick murders, murders so worthless, almost as worthless as their victims. And so I began to search, search and plot. I would devise a massacre so gruesome, so well thought out, so wicked that those I have not brought down, will bring themselves to the gallows and beg for death.???¢??

Chp. 37*****

???¢?? I would begin my massacre in Quinsby Rye, down the way of the pond, and end it with the Beagles, just to drive Mrs. Beagle schizophrenic. Of course, I would leave a few towns people to tell the tale of my hard work, and some just to toy with, to bring me pleasure. ???¢??Sheriff Mualins; Gluttony and Lust, Greed and Envy???¢?? had been found, scrawled on the oak doors of Quinsby Rye???¢??s Sheriff office. Inside, his carnage had been devoured by hungry mountain lions, their carnage secretly and strategecly placed in the Maulins family meat supply.???¢??

Chp. 38*****

???¢??My first killings in this massacre seemed random and meaningless, but every detail had been chosen for a reason. I chose to start with the Sheriff because, since he was indeed a highly thought of government figure among the towns people, his death would draw attention. Also, because he had many lies and secrets; the many women, all but his wife, including old Nirah. He was as much a rapist as Paul McElroy. He died by way of lion because his dead two year old son had died that way, its mother vowing to never let it happen again. She failed. I then slipped the lion into their stored meat, because it was just all so much more fun that way. How sick indeed.???¢??

Chp. 39*****

¢??After the fourth murder in my massacre, Paul became frightened. He came to me, begging to be saved. He was worried that someone was trying to kill him. His stupidity never fails to surprise me, surpassing the stupidity of even Sally Beagle. And so, I enlightened Paul and instilled in him a fear of me so great, in time it would become loyalty, then praise. He would become my first Accomplice.¢??

Chp. 40*****

â??While walking the pebble roads that faded into dirt pathways that lay between Quinsby Rye and the pond I suppress from my memory, I fumbled across a child. A girl. Maybe eight or nine. Now, ordinarily, I would have not even registered her presence. But this girl, Leighlah I call her, winced. She winced as I came towards her, on my way beck into town. Leighlah, pretty name, could see me. Now, also ordinarily, I would just haunt her until she would commit suicide, however, Leighlah was even more special than I could tell. Leighlah, was a growing sociopath.â??
