The end

Driven by my ambition,
never escaping the corruption,
be quiet and just listen.

for you watch your life too closely,
your judgment is blurry,
not seeing the whole picture,
for its not your mind you nurture.

you claim your acts are holy;
to others its torture.

for the soul could only take so much
and then it decays,
for your love no longer stays, in this heart of mine.
your disappearing in my view,
time after time with degrading mistakes you do.

never really knowing how to let go,
now everything i loved is disappearing too slow.

your shadow no longer stands beside me,
and no longer does mine...
