Do you want to make love?

by Michael D Nalley   Mar 23, 2008

Do you want to make love?
Or do you want to make war?
You know what I am speaking of
What are we fighting for?

We believe the love is there
I hope it is in our hearts anyway
I know we really do care
About all of what we do and say

I will never break your spirit.
You will never break my will
Let us listen to the word and hear it
Forever to share truth and have our fill

What is worse than a broken spirit?
Or the pain of a broken heart?
Can we live in truth, or must we fear it
Staying together as we grow apart

I long to hold you in my loving arms
To protect you and keep you free
From all danger of earthly harms
With all the hope and love in me

Wow, the title blew me away and the content did the same way. Excellently written and nicely flowed, the words are good, but I suggest you to pick something stronger than those words. But, it still deserves 5/5!!!
