Breif History of Drowning (part 1)

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Mar 24, 2008

Taking on water
Feel yourself drown
Heart beat and waves crash
Drowning makes no sound

Just then you hear it
Another heart beats with yours
But how is that even possible
So far from any shores

Oceans away from civilization
Lungs breath in the sea
Arms then wrap around you
Arms that belong to me

But these arms aren't saving you!
Something must be wrong
You try to swim to the surface
But the current is to strong

You wonder how we're still alive
No white light ahead
And why am I still by your side
Is this all in your head?

"I've never felt better." dying words of Douglas Fairbanks
