Love and midnight

by Allison   Mar 24, 2008

Darkness surrounds and covers
Totally, completely
Screaming to block them out
Trying to forget the voices that encumber me
Remembering such a great pain
Tears fall like rain
Black lines from dripping mascara cover her face
To remember the day
Hate and angry are my only company
So please forget me
I am bleeding, kicking and screaming
Waking up to an empty bed
I can’t seen to forget my dreams
I remember your words
“The stars are always there
Even under the darken clouds
Even during the storms
Never give up hope
Look up for the stars”
I am falling face down on the pain and your love
Can they be the same?
Words sting like acid
Eating through my skin and flesh
Leaving me crying, bleeding
Forgetting about love and leaving pain.
So kill me quickly
And help everyone to forget little lost me
Butterflies fly around us with their razor blade wings
Cutting deeply
So blood drips to the ground
Covering the grass
I pray the rain with fall and wash away my sins
Remove the stain on my heart, please.
So I as I write about love and hate
I hope to awake from the dream.
