Mommy left today

Mommy left today.

She told Daddy that she could not stay.

Daddy said she was not going to come back,

He saw her one last time,

As she started to pack.

Where did she go?

One thing was for certain,

She could not stay home.

I know Daddy misses her,

I heard him talking to his friends,

What kind of an example

Did my Mommy send?

She was always the one,

To teach us right from wrong,

And sung us songs.

She knew the cure to any sickness,

And could wipe away tears with just one kiss.

She is no longer there,

To read me stories and wipe my tears,

No more giving Mothers day gifts.

All because

My Mommy left today.
