We Forget

Some people aren't born the lucky kind
They have to push hard just to reach the ladder of success
Some things in life won't make sense
Like no rythm in a poem, no lyric to the song
If it doesn't seem normal, we think it's wrong
Family is supposed to be forever, and good friends aren't supposed to lie
Some people have to smile if their family simply stays together
And if their best friends get to say goodbye
Some things are meant to be
and some things are more than destiny
Most people give up after failing so much
but if they'd practice longer and harder
They would have got a chance to try again
All they'd need is determination and time
Why should everything fit together and rhyme?
Stop caring about judgment, rejection, and pain
Nobody always gets what they need
They take what they get and deal with it
Sometimes, that's all that's necessary
We just need to want what we already have
