The Escape

by Ian Havok   Mar 25, 2008

The darkness comes
Overwhelms, devours
All in it's path destroyed
All hope gone
A prayer for tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes
Only darkness, only death
Darkness brings death
Death brings freedom
Freedom from society
From responsibility
From expectations
So close yet so far
It stands before you
The door to freedom
Waiting to be opened
The only key - death
Your death!
You open the door
Only you see the light
It fills the darkness
It surrounds you
The light fills you up
It takes control
Engulfs you, comforts you
The warmth of the light
Never to be forgotten
Never to feel the darkness
Never to be alone
Never to be...
Never again!
