Poem for my son kai

by cassie   Mar 25, 2008

You shoulnd't of gone,
so innocent, so young,
so much you haven't tried,
so much you haven't done.

Your life was gone,
stolen before our eyes,
them small, fragile fingers,
gripped to your mothers,
hers like a giant to yours.

Your innocent soul,
is taken up,
as you leave behind,
the ones you love.

The ones you left behind,
grieve your parting,
as you smile peacefully leaving,

Your innocent life was taken away,
so you can never learn to laugh or play,
the simple things we love to do,
we now can't do these things with you.

kai was born at 1:20 in the morning, on the 15th febuary, he died 6:43 in the morning on the 15th febuary.
