Dream, Forgive, and Leave

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Mar 26, 2008

Dream again
of the hope that eluded you
and that one night
the unconcious was made conscious
and you were forced
into a false sense of insecurity
in a place where humanunkind
no longer counted you in their numbers

Forgive again
the one who insults you the most
and the one person
that turns light to dark
and forces you
into a dangerous swirl of emotions
in a place where happiness
seems a distant taunting

Leave again
the only thing that could save you
and the one hope
that could have warmed you
that wouldn't force you
into a world where faith decays
in a place where belief
is not more than a memory

The only thing you need to do is:

Dream

Forget

and Leave

just that, and nothing more...

It is a beautiful poem full of moral teaching as a well.It reminded me the lines of T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land where he quotes 'da-da-da'i.e.datta-dayadhvam-damyate(give,sympathise and control)An amazing poem.
