Inside

by Stephanie   Mar 26, 2008

My love for him,
Is like I'm trapped,
In a glass box
Me on the inside looking out,
Instead of him on the outside,
Looking in

My heart,
Is locked with heavy chains
I'm screaming out in pain,
I love you!
I love you!
But he does not hear

I press against the glass,
And I remind myself,
Of the memories that have come to pass
The way you'd glance at me
For one moment,
Everything was still

And when I'd catch your eye,
You'd look away
Oh how I'd wish you'd stay,
And talk to me
But there was nothing to say

Except that,
We weren't meant to be
Though exactly alike,
We aren't the same
My mind and my heart
Is playing a game,
And it's tearing me apart

Forever and ever,
Of what will be,
But inside,
It will forever,
Hurt me

Inside,
But not outside,
Of the box

That was beautiful and the emotions were brilliant. Your writing is very deep, and you seem to be very mature, considering your age, 5/5.
