Tears running down her cheeks

by SilentlyDyingInside   Mar 26, 2008

Looking around.
She could see everything that he used to see.
In his room.
There with out him.
Tears running down her cheeks.

Sitting at his desk.
The one he used to sit in.
In his room.
Where he used to be.
Tears running down her cheeks.

Holding a picture of him and her.
Sitting on his bed.
In his room.
Where he used to sleep.
Tears running down her cheeks.

She's his mother.
He was her son.
He was killed by a drunk driver.
He was a great student.
A football player.
He was driving home from his girlfriends house.
He was innocent.
Pronounced dead at the scene.
Tears running down her cheeks.
