For once he notices me

There i see that green eyed wonder
in that new york city shirt
that smile that melts my soul inside
and the way he starts to flirt

i see the way he notices her
but for once, he notices me
we start to click a picture
and my heart increases its beat

my hand is on my best friends shoulder
when he creaps up behind us in our line
then he puts his arm around me
with his hand on top of mine

my heart began to tingle inside
and a smile crept upon my face
he kept it there for a little time
but my heart had begun to race...

didn't know how to finish it...but i just HAD to document it somewhere and i figured a poem was good..
