Hurting Us

Not too long ago,
We had been friends,
Now you’re at an all time low.

One of you said you cared,
Then the other said so too,
Now no heart has been spared.

Have you two no feelings,
For we were hurt also,
And drove us to do bad things.

Now we don’t really care anymore,
You’ve ruined your chances,
You must feel so poor.

After you hurt us both,
Did you ever figure,
We would hate you with such loath?

We hope now that you’ll think twice,
Before you ever hurt us again,
But next time, we might not be as nice.
