Standing still yet slipping away

by Toni   May 23, 2004

Standing still yet slipping away
I'm idle with despair
My painful landslide of the day
Slipped too far too care

Listening hard with cold deaf ears
Numbing the harsh sound
Voices whispering sharpened spears
Throw me to the ground

Speaking softly mindless words
Flowing with unease
My tongue talking languages unheard
Yet all just to please

Crying with my dried out eyes
Tearless at the sema
With every droplet my soul cries
When can i dream?

Breaking down yet building up
Pressure to explode
Violent shaking will not stop
My heart will errode

Wishing for life, wanting death
last hopes intertwine
a picturesque last painful breath
life and death combine

for those who understand this stream
of mingled messed up thoughts
never give up til' you find your dream
and depression you have fought
