The Dark Ending

by Starr   Mar 27, 2008

Casting over our skies with mystery and awe
Leaving others in questions of what they saw.
The sky darkening is leaving many with fears
The black clouds are filling me with tears.
Tears of joy, for the darkness conquers light,
And for others who say darkness forbids sight.
The dark clouds form beautifully as they extend,
The sun has now retired therefore, this is the end.
Most neil to pray as the sky blackens with clouds,
The sounds of the fear and destruction is loud.
The screams fill the air with the voices of lost souls,
Those like me await the farewell of a world so cold.
No one knows what happens next or what else will come,
But sit awaiting anxious with my heart completely numb.
Dark clouds casting a spell of darkness in our world,
Lightening battering the skies with dark waters so still.
Volcanoes projected the magma that was melted inside,
The lava flowing like a river destroying many forms of life.
Dark clouds now dominating the pretty blue skies above,
You now stand thinking of those you never told you love.
Your mind wonders on the ones you denied spare change,
Your mind starts to wonder how your loving heart changed.
You sit and start to regret not apologizing for mistakes,
You stand and nod at all choices you never thought to take.
You cry and regret not making one last friend,
Stop crying you had your chance, now this is the end.
