What Is Love?

by Starr   Mar 27, 2008

Love is a hurt, a pain so deep.
You can't control how it works,
it welcomes itself so sweet.
Love leaves this feeling in your
chest, a very heavy feeling, and
with pain it manifest. I have many
days heard the sound of a shatter,
it was my heart breaking with heavy
eyes that got wetter. Love is something
I never again want to know, it charms you
as a friend but is really your foe. Many
wish for this feeling and some days daily
pray above, for this feeling I really hate which
we call love. I try to runaway but it chase me
down, when it comes and then soon go I despise
the constant sound. The sound of weeping and
crying for the pain of it's lose, for love you will
give up everything no matter the cost. So maybe
I feel that love is not right for me, so can I
continue on making you my enemy? Holding
Love accountable for all the problems in my life,
on how I feel in love once and the time wasn't
right. Could it be that I am meant to be like this,
how I keep my heart secure tight in my fist?
If you can feel my pain and know for sure your
love is true, reach out to me and make me fall
in love with you.
