The Light

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Mar 27, 2008

The night grows darker, black consumes all
and I drift on, my never ending fall
tears dry from many years of crying
eyes weighed down from an eternity of sighing
I begin to walk, time to fight
but darkness is every where, must find the light
I trudge on running now faster, is it near?
But its always gone, I'm numb, so much fear
eyes are black heart gone dark, there is no reason nor rhyme
every thing's cold, nothing ever comes in time
light is nearer, it's now in sight, warmer now
continue the fight, but my heart won't allow
it doesn't want me free, my mind works faster
but I'm still cold my mask my master
fight, fight, fight, you can win
you are strong, committed no sin
the light is closer, teasing my will
I'm close so close, I can feel its heat
just a little further, then I'll accomplish this feet
now it's gone, disappeared, no more hope, just let go
It's over now, too quick, give up now, you'll never know
the light from dark, love from hate
the darkness has now determined your fate
give up the fight
there is no light.

------I just found this cleaning my room...it's from like three years ago...bear with me :P--------------------
