And Now She's Gone

by Dmitri   Mar 27, 2008

What is it about you
That makes me miss you so?
What makes it even harder
Is that nobody can know

We rushed into alot of things
Lead by infatuation
When really all this love can bring
Is painful frustration

Oh when and why did this begin
And why did I play on?
I need you now but you refuse
You knew it all along

You toyed with my emotions
And tease me with your charm
While all the time reminding me
That this could bring me harm

So what am I to do from here?
Forget about you?
Forget about the time we shared,
And start my love anew?

I know that I don't have a choice
you're a mother and a wife
But I can't just forget you
You're an angel in my life

With you I've gone and done some things
I've never done before
And now all I can wish for
Is that you will want some more

Okay so I have lost this girl
And wish to have her back
If not for love than help me here
It's your friendship that I lack

I miss the way you smile at me
The way we laughed at things
I miss you for the fun we had
The joy and peace it brings

So please forgive me for it all
But this is for the best
I've stepped away for Bill to play
And figure out the rest

So go and live your life out
The quiet boring years
I'll always be here waiting
And holding in the tears.
