Two Strangers and Their Words

by .K.i.T.t.Y.   Mar 27, 2008

For many, many months,
The only glimpse of one another
Came from the secret words
Written by the hearts of two strangers.

Her soul carefully penned poems
Melodic in every line,
The boy so carefully read,
Absorbing every word so fine.

With her vivid words,
He drew the details of her face,
Marking carefully the beauty
That has left a trace.

A trace smeared across his heart,
A stain of passion
Enveloped by two strangers,
An embrace of diction.

--well, this is rather icky. defintely not my best. but what can i say, i've kinda entered a poetic block.

rip it apart please. but with reason. i needa know what to fix.

i'd go any tell you who inspired me, but i don't think that person wants to be mentioned cuz this poems kinda icky.

It's got good meaning behind it, although the first and last stanzas don't quite rhyme well. That's about all I can point out, so other than that it's pretty good.
