Rose

by KayKay James   Mar 27, 2008

It stands in its vase
all crimson and new
bright and refreshing
glamorous too

It leads you to itself
greets you with its scent
you think about everything
this is time well spent

It becomes a hazard,
way too strong.
You're attracted to it more and more
this is so wrong

The days have gone by
The poor thing is dying
Unattractive it is,
Its beauty is drying

You leave it there
and new shade(of color) it shows
You love it and keep it
This one wilting rose.
