Untitled #5

Obvious
That's what I said,
One day
She had to forget,
Those faces
That we saw grow up
Are dying
And its all my fault.
I'm writing my name, so she won't forget
Those velvet times that we used to have
I'm holding her hands
I can feel her here
I know she still cares
Marveling perhaps, dubious at the time
But she won't give up
I'm dreaming with her
She's all I have, left in the world
She is not gone.. she cannot be..
She promised herself
To stay here with me.
